Day 2 Reflection: Navigating Educational Technology
Today, we completed our brainstorming and flowchart activities, which helped us plan and outline the next steps for creating our blog. In our group, we identified various AI applications and programs to share, along with their advantages and disadvantages, particularly regarding their use with all students in the classroom. Using artificial intelligence in our lessons can offer students enrichment and supplementary support, enabling a more detailed and personalized learning experience. It also introduces diverse approaches to education and helps prepare students with practical skills they can apply in future scenarios. I am eager to see other groups’ blogs to gain more detailed insights into how they can use class blogs for teaching and learning.

I’m excited for your group to present on your blog. I’m particularly interested in the use of AI in the classroom, especially in how we can tailor our assignments to better demonstrate students’ proficiency with the standards while still allowing them to use AI. I know many people are against AI because students can become too reliant on it, but I wonder if we can shift those perspectives by finding ways to assess students on their process rather than just their final product.
