I thoroughly enjoyed taking this training session on navigating educational technology. Although I’m fairly familiar with using technology in the classroom and I’m comfortable implementing its use in my instruction, this session provided me with another way to productively utilize this learning tool.
It was also nice to see how every group created their blogs. It just showcased how versatile this type of educational technology can be and how it can give students the freedom to be as creative and innovative as they’d like to be. I also appreciated all the constructive criticism my team and I received on our blogs. Those comments truly helped me to reflect on what worked and what I could improve on as I continue to create future blog posts.
I’m looking forward to applying what I learned here to my classroom instruction as well as sharing my knowledge with my colleagues at my school.
I also plan to share it with my colleagues especially for our character education class. It's a good tool to help encourage students to reflect and share.
