Our group’s blog focuses on the different cultures represented in the GDOE classroom. I learned how teachers can collaboratively create a blog that showcases the diverse cultures our students bring to class. We each researched our own ethnic backgrounds as well as another country whose culture we might encounter among our students.
The purpose of our blog was to highlight the variety of backgrounds we see in the GDOE classroom. By introducing each culture through its language, practices, and food, we can better understand the makeup of our class.
I would like to learn more about using different types of media on the blog. If I were more familiar with the various tools for embedding media, it would benefit the blog’s viewers. This could help them more easily grasp and better understand the content of the blog.
