From the perspective of a teacher who is moving from one school to another, I am very happy to be in this class. My success at my new teaching assignment will depend heavily on my ability to empower myself to learn new things and explore new tools. This in turn will allow me to empower my students to develop the skills that will lead to success in school and in the workforce.
The Blogger tool is simple to use, free, and accessible to teachers and students. The Review of Resourceful Educational Blogs was a great jump off point for us to create our group blog. In particular educatorstechnology.com had a wealth of information related to our vision for the blog.
I’m excited to work on the activities in the course and designing the class blog.
