Day 1 reflection
Hafa Adai,
Integrating educational technology through literacy has shown me how powerful it can be when used with purpose and balance. I see that technology opens doors for them to read, write, and express their ideas in ways that feel meaningful and personal. Yet the heart of the work still comes from the teacher-guiding, modeling, encouraging, and helping students.
Technology becomes most effective when it is incorporated into the lesson, not added as something extra. It supports students with their work. The use of technology should enhance literacy, not replace the relationships and instructional materials that shape student learning.
Teacher guidance and technology should work together to support student education and growth.

I agree with you in the sentiment. Technology is a valuable tool and resource in the classroom to support students, but it should be used in a way that truly enhances their learning and works alongside them, not replace it.
ReplyDeleteTechnology works better indeed when incorporated in the lesson plan to support student engagement! Also to make it fun too!
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you mentioned about using technology to enhance lessons. I think it is important to explain to students why we are using technology for a specific lesson and how it enhances the lesson and provides more opportunities to deepen their understanding.
ReplyDeleteNowadays, students learn better visually through the use of technology. As teachers, we should train them the proper use and care of the equipment provided. Learning is fun with the educational technology.
